Day 1: Arrival in Errachidia – Merzouga
Upon your arrival at the airport, our team will be there to greet you. you will begin the 3 days from Errachidia to Merzouga desert, enjoying on a scenic drive toward the enchanting Merzouga Sahara desert. After settling in, you’ll be treated to a delicious dinner followed by an overnight stay in Merzouga.
Day 2: Exploration of the Merzouga Region
Today morning, the 3 days desert tour will begin through very diverse landscapes. The Paris-Dakar Rally Track will take us across sandy rivers, Berber villages, Nomads and dry lakes, and dunes of Ouzina: a magnificent place, which can only be accessed by off-road tracks to Khamlia, a truly unique village of Gnawa. Here we will enjoy the traditional music, then we will have a lunch break, we will eat Berber Pizza accompanied by tea and a very complete rice salad. Just before reaching the dunes of Merzouga, where you will meet your camel guide to cross the dunes to the camp. You will spend a special night on New Year’s Eve under the starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Errachidia Airport
Rise early for a breathtaking sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, we’ll head back to Merzouga on camelback, with our driver awaiting your return. There might be a stop in Rissani, a historic trading hub, for a glimpse of its bustling souk. Then, we’ll visit Erfoud’s fossilized marble workshops before our journey ends at Errachidia airport.
