10 days Tour from Casablanca – Desert trails

10 days desert tour, will start from Casablanca via the Sahara desert. Crossing through the Imperial cities and the oldest track of the Rally Dakar race. 10 days 

Day 1: Arrival at Airport – Visit Casablanca
Arrive at Casablanca Mohamed V airport, after that, you will visit the historical heritage of the largest city of Morocco, we will be able to explore some places in the city.  As the biggest Mosque Hassan II and the Coastal Seaside “Corniche”. Before we come back to the hotel overnight.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes
Today depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco, you will see the Hassan Tower and walk the Udayas Kasbah. The road to Fes takes us along a beautiful stretch of farmlands, where olives, grain, vegetables, and grapes are grown. Before arriving in Fes, you will visit Meknes has the Medersa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, the Gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace, this leads us into the Henri es-Souani, the horses stable and granaries. Upstairs is a rooftop garden and cafe with a great view of the city. Arrive at Fes, and check into the hotel.
Day 3: Exploring Fes with a local guide
Today, explore the attractions of Fes the old imperial city of Morocco. The tour starts from the Royal Palace gate, you will have the opportunity, to visit the ceramics cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts. And takes you through the narrow streets of the Medina to the Jewish Quarter and the Tanneries. This tour highlights all the sites with cultural and historical interest. Including the famous Al karaouine University, Overnight.
Day 4: Fes – Midelt.
Today after breakfast, we leave for the Middle Atlas Mountains; a fresh, green, and leafy Alpine-style village, built by the French elite to their European taste. Continuing to the cedar forest, where the birdsong creates a musical backdrop to the unfailing, attentive, and curious gaze of the Barbary monkeys, that live in the forest. The National Park of Ifrane is the largest in Morocco and we will be able to contemplate the incredible trees, Gouraud Atlas cedars more than 100 years old, grand majestic and imposing oaks, famous in the Atlas for their imposing antiquity which darken the road creating a mysterious atmosphere. As we continue towards Midelt, the Middle Atlas unfolds and offers truly spectacular landscapes, with their nomadic villages scattered all along the way, down to Midelt and Overnight.
Day 5 – Midelt –  Ziz valley – Merzouga
Departure from Midelt to Merzouga desert, we will pass over the Tizi-n-Talghemt pass and through the Ziz Valley. Which is particularly well-known for its palm trees, and the length of the oasis. All along the road, there are innumerable ksars, small villages of individual houses. From here, we reach Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils. Then, continue to Merzouga, We will visit Khamlia, a truly unique Gnawa village. Here you will have a traditional Berber Pizza, just before reaching Merzouga Dunes, where you will meet your camel guide to ride into the dunes to the camp. Overnight will be under the desert camp in the middle of the Sahara.
Day 6 – Merzouga – Ouzina dunes – Ramlia – Tafraout desert.
The journey Will start traversing across some very diverse landscapes, we take the trail through sand rivers, and villages lost in nothingness, On the way, we will visit the nomad families. And dry lakes until we reach the Tafraout desert: a magnificent place, accessible only by off-road tracks, overnight.
Day 7: Tafraout desert – Alnif – Todra gorge – Dades Valley.
After breakfast, we will continue our 10 days desert tour to Dades Valley. Crossing through Todra gorges the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy hotel overlooking the Dades Valley.
Day 8: Dades valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
Today, our trails desert tour continues driving towards Roses Valley and Ouarzazate called “the Hollywood of Africa”. Here we may visit the local film studio and Kasbah. Then, we head to Ait Benhaddou, to visit the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO historical site. We continue over the High Atlas mountains till we reach Marrakech and we stay here in the medina in a traditional riad.
Day 9: Full day to visit Marrakech.
Today will have an optional private Guided Tour of Marrakech, with an official guide, you will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens, a night at a Riad in the Medina. Overnight.
Day 10 – Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast on the last day, transfer to Casablanca Mohammed V International airport for your return flight, the end of the 10 days desert tour.
