Spectacular 10 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech through the Sahara desert, you will know our culture and see landscapes. The tour will start from Tangier to the Merzouga desert and ends in Marrakech. Where, we will know many very interesting, spectacular, exciting, and spiritual places. Day 1: Arrival in Tangier
Upon arrival at the airport/port in Tangier, you will be met and start to visit the famous Hercules Cave, the beautiful beach of Achakar, cap spartel, where the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans meet. Visit the old town, with its warren of atmospheric alleys
Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen
Leaving Tangier towards Chefchaouen, through the Rif mountains and Tetouan city. To enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains of Morocco until we get to Chefchaouan, one of the stunning villages at the feet of the Rif mountains. Chefchaouen Medina (old part of the city) with its blue color become one of the best towns to visit in Morocco, surrounded by many funky arts, crafts stores, roof-top restaurants, and cafes. Overnight in Chefchaoun.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, We will depart to Volubilis and explore the ruins of this Roman city. We continue to Meknes, where you will explore the Medina of Meknes and the Sahrij Souani. Used for irrigation and plantation, The Square of Lehdim, and the Gate of Bab al Mansour. You will have the opportunity to explore the souks, later we will continue onto Fez. Accommodation at a traditional Riad.
Day 4: Fes Sightseeing
Exploring day with a local guide, exploring the attractions of Fez one of the Imperial cities in Morocco. The tour starts from the Royal Palace gate, you will have the opportunity, to visit the ceramics cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts; and takes you through the narrow streets of the Medina, to the Jewish Quarter and the Tanneries. This tour highlights all the sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al karaouine Universit, in the afternoon, we will take you to admire the panoramic view over the Medina, and visit the new city or the new Fez.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga desert
After breakfast your breakfast, we will drive to the Sahara desert, Passing through Ifrane and the cedar forests, where the wild monkeys are located. It will be a good opportunity to take photos of the wilderness in Morocco. Lunch in a small Berber village. We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Midelt, then Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Desert oasis of Tafilalet. And then continue to Merzouga desert, after relaxing few min.. you’ll ride the camels to spend the night in a Desert Camp.
Day 6: Merzouga – Todra gorges – Dades valley
Wake up early morning, to catch the beauty of the sunrise in the desert, After breakfast. Then, departure to Rissani, the desert’s gate of Erg Chebbi, with a bustling Souk little frequented by tourists, A park of donkeys near the market. Then, drive to Tinghir and Todra Gorges. It is the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the gorge, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley enjoying the rock formations monkey toes. Overnight in Dades valley.
Day 7: Dades valley – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
After having breakfast, departure to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. Stopping for a panoramic view of the Taourirt Kasbah, and the atlas film studios. After that. You will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. has served as a natural decoration for many movie producers since the 1960s. And stop for lunch in a local restaurant in the village. In the Afternoon. We will drive to Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Drop off in Marrakech.
Day 8: Full day to visit Marrakech
Today, you will have an optional private Guided Tour of Marrakech, with an official guide from Marrakech. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens, a night at a Riad in the Medina. Overnight.
Day 9: Day trip to Essaouira
Next day morning, you will start traveling to the coastal city of Essaouira. Getting there after about a 2-and-a-half-hour drive to start exploring the city, walk through the alleys of the Medina, and view hundreds of handicrafts. This “City of the Wind” attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilizations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic”. You will also visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil. Here they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal properties. Lunch will be in the medina or the port. In the afternoon, you will travel back to Marrakech. Overnight at riad.
Day 10: Marrakech – Airport
Transfer from your hotel/riad to the Airport, end of the 10 days tour.
